Our Story/Approach

I started my career as a carpenter. I was always intrigued with craft and wanted to learn more about the craftsman side of the trade. In 1982 all construction work came to an abrupt stop. After a period of no opportunities I chose to attend college and after studying business for one year at Eastern Illinois I chose to study Architecture. Carpentry provided me an exceptional understanding of assembly and to this day I build my solutions in my head while detailing. Architectural history provided the knowledge to integrate art in the craft and the ability to maximize the potential of materials. Architecture is more than simple problem solving. The best of us take it to a higher level of creating environments and solutions that are a great experience to live, learn, work and play. Our purpose is in  striving to create exceptional experiences for our clients and building occupants.
